My mother chose my name because of the character in Disney’s Peter Pan. I do like my name. The character of Wendy is in many ways much like my own personality. I can be ridiculously optimistic at times which generates the strength to move through a situation with positive results or have unrealistic expectations that can never be met; leading myself down the road to disappointment. My husband came up with my email name, eyecanfly. He says, “The only reason you cannot fly, is because you parents told you that you did not have wings.”
